CESH is launched
Community Exchange Southern Highlands is ready to go!
As soon as you join, you can start trading with other members. One of the defining features of LETSystems is that you can have debt without any consequences. You will be encouraged to contribute your goods and services to other members, but debt represents commitment and commitment is good.
Upon joining, you will receive an email explaining how to use the Community Exchange System (where trades are entered) and you will be able to see there what other members are offering.
Soon, the CESH admin team will begin organising social trading days. These could take the form of a working bee, where everyone is contributing their labour to one project; a networking day, where everyone brings what they have to offer – haircuts, children’s entertainment, garden produce – and trades with other members present. If you have any ideas for events, leave a comment below.
